The lawn. The hedge. Not the spade.

Battery mower, hedge trimmer and strimmer. Prices depend on size and slope. I look first, then we agree.

Mower on striped grass

Regular cutting & edging

Battery mower — quiet, no fumes. Growing-season rounds, usually fortnightly, or a rescue cut when it’s a meadow. Clippings taken unless you want them left. Edges kept so it looks finished, not just shorter.

Healthy lawn edge

Feed through the year

Spring start, summer hold, autumn thicken. Slow feed suited to a wet Island, not a bag of cheap burn-and-hope from the shed.

Mossy lawn before treatment

Moss and weeds

Isle of Man lawns do moss. Treat it, then give the grass a reason to come back. Spot weeds rather than painting the whole garden.

Finished striped lawn

Hedge trimming

Battery hedge trimmer for garden hedges that have got away a bit. Sides and tops, clippings cleared. Not tree work, not a 20-foot leylandii that needs a platform.

Strimmer-ready lawn edge

Strim and blow

Battery strimmer for posts, walls and the awkward strip the mower can’t reach. Blower to put the mess in a heap instead of all over the path.

Finished striped lawn after work

Scarify, aerate, overseed

Thatch off the top, holes in the surface, seed in the thin bits. It looks rough for a fortnight. Then it looks like a lawn again. Still not digging.

How it works

Pictures. Price. Then I come.

A video from the back door is enough.

WhatsApp it. I’ll price it from that.
